Also, you didnt need that wing OR those tires to beat Mico if he drives anything like he does on Forza in real life, like a fish out of water. HAH.
That's all I want for my Corolla. Switches, and lots of them. Switches to turn on other switches. I want the simplest car, but the most complex switch operation.
I'm aware that I am faster, but I wanted to make the car more enjoyable to drive at the track. Put down a 1:33.xxx last time with a bad tune (things changed since the tune that threw it off) and non-staggered tires. I had oversteer issues if I came in hot or left turns a bit heavy footed. I also was getting brake fade by the last corner of a 1 lap time trial. Things had to change.
Thanks dudes. Fully commited to the GT wing. Can't go back now.
Pretty sure I'm going to have an awesome time. The engine has proven reliable on long road trips and also fixed my random overheating with a thermostat last November. GoPro videos to come.

Squatting all sick. Aero's all fucked up. What was up with the "not fast" times? Car being funny at full track tilt or you just didnt get the track down? Provide us with times and comparisons. I'm just curious.

It was a matter of getting used to the different grip levels. The morning was damp. It was misting throughout the practice run groups. I could not push it very hard as the rear kicked out, as expected.
As it dried up, the grip was patchy. By the end of the day it was fully dry. I kept knocking seconds off each lap and found that the tires worked awesome. I lifted on some corners that I think I could have gone flat out, but didn't know my grip limits.
Timed runs of the day
97.741 96.744 95.855 96.333 94.008
I skipped heat #6 because I felt like I was in a good place for the day without breaking anything. Definitely plan another trip to Blackhawk later this year.

If you (or anybody) heads to BFR again hit me up! I'll stop out to watch and chill, its pretty close to me. I actually go up there pretty often to watch random events. I also plan on riding a trackday this year on the bike.

Kevin, are you looking at doing any other days this summer? Screw being reasonable and saving money, I'll take the Fit out.

Definitely planning another outing this summer. I got some video from the guy who filmed the boostedfilms Evo (that set the record). When people are following me, that's at the morning group runs when I ran with a faster group.
I'll be editing my video once I get home

Got to about 95 or so. I know I have more speed if I stop being a pussy around the high speed section near the end.
