Decided to manage my oil temperature issues, specifically a peak of 130C (266F) when making a few laps of Blackhawk.
It's a 16 row Setrab 13x4-7/8" cooler, -8AN XRP lines and fittings, and a Mocal sandwich plate. I might run a thermostat later because I might run into an over-cooling problem.

Haha, rad! You should make some smooth ducting around it though. Would look sick!

Very little.
Plans are to get around to painting stuff for the MRS this week. I also need to start thinking about winter cars. There's a clean AW11 in town for cheap that I can throw the snow tires from the MRS on and put the Slipstreams on in the spring.
Corolla will happen, eventually.

Kevin's driveway: ZZW30, AE86, (maybe) AW11.
Now all you need is an ST185, and I will forever hate you.

AW11 was sold before I got to it. Guess I'll start on that Corolla and drive that through the winter.

Whatever. It's just a shitty 80's Toyota that I have no attachment to. Better than driving my MRS through the winter.

You realize its like pretty involved trying to get heat to work in an 86 right?
not trying to deter you, just a friendly warning. The control valves are always fucked, or the cables are bad/console doesnt work, or the core is junk and you cant find a working one. I know it took aldo like a year to get his to work or some shit, i've read about people literally spending hundreds of dollars to try to have working heat in their 86

Video from early Saturday when I still was fucking up the line pretty bad. I started using the full course, braking later, and hitting my clipping points better today and kept pace with a NA Exige (2006 model) until he waved me by. This shit was bonkers and I was loving every minute of it. I came back to the paddock cheesin' every time.
Oh, and I painted aero, did new wheel bearings for the front left and front right, and installed stainless brake line when I flushed the system with ATE Super Blue. I am getting some high oil temps, but I'm gonna work on some sick ducting and a fan for the cooler.

Dude, you should have heard me and the Exige screaming around the track. I had the goofiest smile after that session. I was so pissed that I didn't have my memory card for that. We had nearly the same exhaust tone and were running very close to eachother.

Is it easy to cut all that black plastick trim out of the front bumper?
That run group must have been fun as fuck, all those cars are like perfect to fuck with each other.

Started my winter project. Trying to make more of an effort to post here and not facebook/instagram. Changing up some things to make more reliable power and putting that power down. Also working on some exterior stuff that I've wanted to do for awhile now.
Oil cooler ducting and fan to make air actually go through my cooler. It's looking much better now but still has more to go.
