10 spoke CE28n, concave face. One of the sets on my dream wheel list. (you know the list; TE's, CE's, Regas, etc) It was the logical step from TE's. | |

| Done with the wheels. Some stance dork had them Barney purple. Luckily, that lowered their value on the market and allowed me to scoop them up and put $25 worth of paint on them. Now they just need to cure and I'll be shining them up and putting new "Volk Racing" and "CE28n" stickers on them. Purple wheels are so stupid. SO much better. These wheels have renewed some energy into building the car. They're one of those parts that just make you excited to be a car dork. | |

| This is just stupid. So after finally getting all of the pieces, here's the final result. Circuit Sport 5x100 to 5x114.3 15mm adapter spacers. I had to trim the studs on the hub to clear the back side of the wheel. About 5mm came off of the studs. Some paint. Still need to buf them up properly. 265/35-18 tires in the rear are a bit tight, but they clear! Definitely steam roller spec The rear quarter panel will see a higher radius arch shortly | |

| It's been awhile since I've updated. I've been working on the car on and off every week to two weeks all summer long. I've given up on the 2ZZ and new EMS after snail-paced progress all year and missing every event I planned to attend. I decided my efforts are better concentrated towards putting the engine I actually want in the car. Lately I've been getting myself hyped by looking at stuff like this. My flywheel and clutch are on the way. Once they arrive, the new engine and trans will bolt into the car (after a few reliefs to the subframe and bulkhead). Then comes the rest. The plan is to have the engine and trans in, axles in, and have a rolling car that needs full exhaust, coolant lines, fuel lines, wiring, and all the other little stuff before snow hits. I WILL drive this money sinkhole again. Pic for motivation. I want to run the rear header above the subframe on my car. | |

| Made some progress. I towed it home after frustration with the 2ZZ. Started selling off some parts. Pulled the 2ZZ out! Cleaned the E153 trans Prepped the 2GR to mate with the trans. I'm currently waiting on a release bearing fork from Toyota. | |

| It's getting there. Slowly but surely. After making some clearance with a cutoff wheel, I mated the transmission to the engine last night. I'm pretty excited to see it come together. Also, this engine is HUGE. It will definitely be a "10lbs of crap into a 5lb bag" kind of install. New OEM parts One... ...and done | |

| Bit by bit. Today I picked up urathane motor mount insert from the guy I sold my old 86 to. (That car is really shaping up, BTW) I also started fitting the mounts to the engine. I made a list of the sizes I need, since I plan on picking up some new flange head bolts. (I get a little OCD when working on my own cars.) I ran into this issue with the shift linkage bracket. It hits the coolant line that goes to the oil cooler. I suspect the mount fabricator was using an engine without the oil cooler (tow package only), which would not have these lines. | |

| Clearance for the transmission (to be boxed in and powder coated again) On the ground again The oil pan clears the ground, but just barely. (Don't mind the spilled coolant) | |

| Thanks dudes. I hate waiting on parts, so I made a render. Different bumper and wing though. What the standard kit looks like: Corrected ride height, 18's, and modified wheel arches: | |
