| I have been looking around for different parts that I am going to need and came across a bunch of different intercoolers on ebay. Is anyone running one of these ebay specials? Which one?
Does anyone know anything about them?
If so, how do they perform and what kind of fitment issues would I have?

| I can't speak for every part that godspeed makes, but: Sways - worthless. IC - sure as long as its 200 shippid or something like that coilovers - $485.00 thats what they cost (RS) so yeah, make up your own mind.
But since most people modify their cars on a whim, and without thought as to what its actual purpose is going to be..... fuck, I'm ranting again......
P.S. Glad you didn't get butthurt about my comments. you might be ok
or not. | |

| Yeah. If its too good to be true (ie. coils for $485), it probably is. lol.
And as far as your comments are concerned, my stepmom has got you beat. LOL. seriously though, Jay, you seem like a pretty cool guy who just likes to give noobs like me shit soo..... I can deal with it.
But anyway, I found an intercooler I like. Its made by JVT racing. Anyone ever heard of it?

| Junior Vagina Trainer ???
nope.
doesn't matter tho. you know you're just going to crash the car anyway.
BTW I predict "how do I put on my intercooler on" thread in your future along with "the bumper doesn't fit, can i run without it" quiestion being raised.
Shit, I should be charging you for telling you your future!
YOU OWE ME A BEER!!! | |

| I have a couple things to say. First is.. i hate ebay anything. UNLESS, its non load bearing parts. Like FMIC, Downpipe, Exhaust, those are fine.
I HATE egay fucking suspension links,"COILOVERS",diffs, turbos, aero, seats, blah blah blah. Shit is so broke. Ive never bought egay anything. But im considering getting an egay exhaust.
Also, anyone thats ever driven around without a front bumper to show off their massive intercooler on their t25 is a fucking douchebag whos clearly never had anything worth shit in life.
That shit is the worst. | |

| They become load bearing parts when you dirt drop, catch some air, slam into a curb! | |

| First off, this shits hilarious!
Second, I could probably figure out how to mount the intercooler AND notch the bumper all on my own....hopefully....lol.
Third, I will FOR SURE be running the 2871R turbo so I am thinking that a bigish intercooler wont be a TOTAL waste.
And finally, It really doesn't matter anyway cause I am going to have to replace the damn intercooler after my first track day when I slam into a hay bail and it gets all fucked up!! Just like Jay said.
so there. | |

dont they get compression and tension forces exerted on them during acceleration (direction change, braking, ect)? not really enough to matter. Your toe rods are going to hold up, not much force being exerted there. Same with traction rods. TC and RUCAs are the ones to worry about. 2871r huh. yeah, sure, why not, everyone else is running one. 300hp and shitty tires. I can see it now.............. what? I already told you I aint making free future predictions, you already owe me one beer as is!!!!!

| Ok, well since you say an intercooler might as well be considered load bearing according to my logic.
Break a fucking tension rod or ruca mid-drift and tell me what happens. Break an intercooler mid- drift and tell me what happens. You know since their both non bearing parts and im a fucking retard or something.

| What do you mean by the 300hp and shitty tires comment?
Dont the tires turn to shit as soon as you take a couple laps around?

Anyone ever heard of it? what's up man, i actually have a JVT 4-1 header on my integra and i love it. the welds are really nice, has a nice deep tone and all in all it was a pretty decent purchase. they have good prices too. but that's for honda, and its also not an IC so... just my 2 cents
