Yeah thats the first thing on my list and maybe also replace all brake lines and hard trans line. Start tucking wires, degreasing the shit out of the carpets, cleaning out all the dust and dirt, replacing all fluids, basically all the shit that involves as little amount of money as possible. Ok can anyone answer these questions for me: 1. Is there any specialty tools required to hold the cam gears in place for timing? This is a nissan so im assuming that it has a timing chain and not a timing belt correct? 2. how often does the u-joint wear out on this shit? 3.should I replace all tie rods and ball joints to be safe? 4.Are wheel bearings a big issue? 5.What can I do about the rust, sand it off and spray rubber undercoating? | |

| Its different with every 240. There are some decent 240's in the midwest. I had to have mine shipped from Arizona and guess what, it still had some minor rust. These cars are old and i recommend them only for true enthusiast of the s chassis. They require alot of time or a lot of money if you dont know what your doing. | |

| I have plenty of time, I know it's going to take a lot of patience and studying to get this thing going in the right direction. What kind of $$ should I expect to fix the rust? | |

| Cars in general I am good, from basic diagnostics to actually doing the repairs. I use to own a white EG6 before my accord, I did everything myself on it. Replaced head gasket, cv axles, tie rods, belts, alternators, wiring. You know that kind of stuff. Body work is something I just have an idea about. Only experience really is my VHT niteshaded tail lights lol. But I know I can build this car the right way the first time. I'm just going to need help and advice | |
