| i kno its not slave... had this problem for a while but still havent fixed it. Ive put 2 new ones in and changed nothing besides the fact of the older ones leaking. Im pretty sure its a internal leak in the clutch master cylinder. Id say do both... theres a package thing on ebay for both including a new line too for a lil over a hundo. | |

| Just because it wasnt the slave in your case doesnt mean its not the slave in his case. Ive had that shit happen on a bunch of s13's ive driven. Each time its been the slave. | |

| Just replace both slave and master since theyre both only like 30 dollars and bound to go out sometime anyways. Get a SS line to delete the damper box too and make sure you bleed it well. | |

| Go to nico tech article section. They have a detailed walkthrough. Its super simple. You just take out the stupid clutch damper and run a SS line or bend the stock hardline into your slave soft line. I did it on my car and roski's car also I believe. | |

im gonna order a new slave tomorrow. .. you dont think you have one? have one what? and i agree with edgar.. ive had 5 240s.. and every single one of them had a clutch master or slave problem.. 9/10 you will have a bad slave..its a 10 dollar fix.

Did you make sure to soak the shit out of it with pb blaster or nuts off before you attempted to loosen it?

and it isnt that bad stripped if you want to reduce the chance of stripping/shearing/snapping/etc. you should atleast spray some of that shit on the nuts/bolts/etc.

| soaking the nuts is the only way to make sure its fully lubricated and reduces the amount of friction making it easier to take off. | |
