Fuck power. I had no power and all looks and suspension last year or so(same for trucky, same for frankmon, same for Roski now). Best fun ive ever had. I didnt need power for anything anyway. Still dont. The car was so reliable and i drifted the shit out of it 3-4 nights a week. I got better as a driver because i had to learn all the other techniqes and not depend on power. I ended up doing fucking awesome wherever I went in the car. If id have left it that way and gone to some DD's im sure id have done good without power there also. Plus I just cant have some shitty ass looking crappy car. Cannot. Thats what alot of the nico faggot cars look like. SUPER tall stock height or spring height flatblack or faded s13 with a shitty redtop swap, painted stock wheels, and pissed on interior. YAh right, fuck that.

I upgraded my turbo and intercooler, but as of now im going for power and looks. But if I had to choose it would probably be looks, I have to have a decently clean car.

I've got to say I'm a power guy. Don't get me wrong, I love the looks and I require my car to be clean. But there is nothing wrong with having a shit ton of power at the mercy of your foot.

It depends on the car I am driving. For me it has to be an all around car, decent power under the hood to back up the looks of the car.

Yes but were talking about having to choose.
For m suspension sort of goes hand in hand with looks.
Gotta be on a good set of quality coilovers to get that gansta ride height, gotta have them ruca's to fit your gangsta wheels.

If we're going by this...

Power w/o control is retarded, so I'd much rather have the control w/o power.

Cosmetic it is!

No brown nosing here. Thats how I am. I hate having to settle for something thats not the best.

If I had to pick, I would stick with the power as I mentioned earlier. That is because it is the more expensive part. So once you get that out of the way, you can go all out on aero, coils, wheels, and paint.

Thats my plan anyway.

More expensive part?
Yah right. Maybe your gonna go with a fucking ebay kit, gay wheels, and some fucking Ksports. You know how much good aero, coils, wheels and paint come out too??? Theres more than aero to it.
Aero+accessries(roof wing,spoiler,GT wing,hood,mirrors,canards,tint,vinyl,etc.)=1-1.5
Good coils=1-2k
Flush wheels=1k-3k
Paint-800-2k

SO even if you went with the cheapest shit it would still cost about
4k to make a hot car. Thats using the CHEAPEST shit.

Suspension > Power > Looks

Suspension should have its own category. Anyone can make their car "look" lower by just throwing on some shit springs or cutting the stock springs, and that isn't a great "suspension".

Learn to drive first, power is overrated.

Were not talking about springs or cutting.
The general assumption is that for a car to look rad is gotta be flush and slammed, THUS, were including full coilover setup, rucas, etc. into the looks equation.

I think the word "power" is to much of a broad topic to choose and "looks" as well. I think the better choice of words would be Performance, meaning decent suspension, decent power under the hood, but not much done to the outside, maybe other than wheels. And as for "looks," "apperance" would be the better choice of word. Meaning ebay suspension, but barely anything done under the hood, but you have a version body kit.

If I had to choose this time around I'd still go with performance. I'm out of my ricer stage, which I am not saying that people that prefers looks over performance are ricers, I'm just saying that I went through my ricer stage and realized that, when I go to the track, performance parts wins races and driverskill, but not body kits. Bodykits wins carshows.
