| Does your speedo work? I had my VSS wiring not hooked up on my ka and that was the result. Soon as i wired it back up, it went away. Want a quick fix? Get an AT ecu. | |

| first of all, you don't need to hook up the 5th gear sensor. than, cut the vss wire after the cluster, so it doesn't go to ecu. and enjoy your fuel cut free ride. Here's a proof that it works | |

| hahaa i had the same problem, redline 1 and 2. 3,4,5 cuts off at 4grand, mine just went away one day. I heard a lot of thing that it might be> ecu, injectors, ground, o ring, timing, fuel pump, fuel filter, maf and the list goes on. The way i saw it, is that it kept me from beating on the ka so good luck. o and the whole speedo thing, it has nothing to do with it. My friend has the same thing it reads more than what he is doing and his ka is strong. |

| Well anyway, I had the same problem. Whenever the digital speedo on my coupe cut out, I couldn't go to redline in 4th or 5th, but when the speedo was working, it had no problems.
Now with my hatchback my analog speedo doesn't work, but I have no problem winding out 4th... I've never tried 5th cause... well to be honest, I'm not sure the hatch will stay together at thoes speeds. | |
