Yes I am. I currently plan to build a In-laws Suite first which will be a pretty simple one bedroom/bath/kitchen type thing but its going to be attached to a finished shop. The wife and I are planning on living in that until the house is finished. Trying to get around 10 acres of property to put it on so i can do some stupid ass shit.

Really trying to make sure I do it right....once.

I'm currently planning just to do what you're doing but with 3acres.
It's just finding the location and at the right price.
I don't see it happening for another 5 years until I have more equity in my house.

I've lived in my current house for 7 years. I bought one when I was mega young. I've been slowly planning over the last year and a half what exactly I would like to see go down. Starting to look at property towards the end of this year as I would love to start this project by next year.

Spent a little time inspecting the motor I got. I think visually the motor could use exhaust valve seals but im going to toss it in and do what I learned best here on CA240...Roll the dice and ride the dragon.



My plan was to use all the original everything for a while but the turbo is ganked so now I will have to drop a little more coin for a different turbo set up. I just want to drive.

I keep trying to remind myself that I have waited 5 years whats another 10 months.

My new carpet and pad showed up yesterday so I drank some beer and pretended to lay out some of the interior to make myself feel better.

My Mazwork adapters came in for the calipers. These were designed to use an EVO 8 rotor and to be used for an s1314. These bolted together on my GKtech knuckles with no modification which is radical ( they noted modification on the website.) Going to try and scoop some rotors/pads and lines to keep the brake system install rolling.

Does she ever ask you about car stuff? My fiancee is all lost and clueless when it comes to car stuff. It's kinda cute but than pretty frustrating.

haha thats what she was impressed with was the overall size of the caliper.

Her dad was a body guy for subaru for the last 18 years so shes been around cars. Super supportive for everything I do. I know it fustrates her when I change ideas and shit haha.

I think im going to rock them the factory silver with the badge..i kinda like it. Probably paint the 2 sets of rear 300's silver to match

Yeah definitely do as you plan with the calipers. It looks real slick. I doubt most people would realize that factory decal on there. It's surprisingly not out of place looking.

My understanding is these calipers were also fitted on a certain Ferrari ( I can't remember which but have embossing of Made in Italy ) and thought red with the horse would be cool too but i don't think it will fit the end color scheme.

Yeah seriously that red would be cool. But you can't go wrong with what you have now. Ah so close! It's going to be surreal when this thing sliding and making loud noises!

Hoping to have the interior completed in the next week or so. It will be leaving for some body love and shit next month and it would rule to have done so all I have to do is have the motor dropped in.

So ive finally received the shit I ordered middle of July and it got my pumped! Some interior, some suspension.

Pulling the carpet out this weekend to make the hydro bracket and fill floor holes. Then put all my shit back into it.

I am excited to wrap this up on the inside to get to the outside again.
