so ive been building my s13 since i blew it up in march. bought it in october 2010 and drove it like i bought it until the number 4 piston decided to grenade on me. its almost running and getting tuned this friday the 28th at ill garage. funded all by me cause i sell the gay ass newspaper. yes im the annoying asshole that knocks on your door while your at home not doing shit but still decide to tell me your busy. at my age it pays better that minimum and beats flippin burgers. so anyways heres how i bought it..

i soon had this. turbo wasnt clocked right so i dont wanna hear any bs

while i was a it i bought these..

bought a kit and origin overs since my passenger quarter is fucked, wheel fitment hasnt been touched. getting smaller tires first. the cars gonna get painted white, and not rattle can shit

picked these bad boys up

so thats it in short, kinda. the motor runs and is ready to be tuned. i did spray the bay though right before putting the motor back in just cause i didnt want it be red. same will go for the interior. im realllllly regretting not tubing it too, so i might do that this winter

im picking up a front bumper tomorrow and after its tuned the bride and cage go in. soon to be had after its running is a origin 3 piece wing and type x tails
plan to track it as much as possible next year so hopefully ill see some of you guys out there. well, thats it for now.

picked up that bumper and got my wheel today, still waiting on my short hub though. fuck i just want to be able to drive this thing...8 months of withdrawls..ughhhh

so the car went to ill garage friday. got the drivability and everything tuned and he was about to do some high boost pulls and my main rear started leaking. fuck. well the motors almost out and im gonna try to get back in 2 weeks...

Finally got tuned, now its time to try to get it to look decent. Probably gonna change some things up to make some more low end power though.

Yea my bad guess I never did. Its a garret 3071r on 22psi and im running nistune.

Haha I know guys that's why I said I'm gonna figure out a better setup. 272's and t3 frame turbo. Which I'm pretty sure is the reason for the lag

I think it would be fucking awesome to have a 400+hp super laggy setup just so you could come out of slow corners and have to put the hammer down and clutch kick like a maniac in a corolla, but still be hauling ass at the same time.

reminds me of a quote from hackinson at ASB last year when he had his 400 whatever horsepower ls1. He was talking to josh before josh drove the car. It went something like this.

"Sure, you can use second and third and link the course with your eyes closed like every other dickhead, or you can use 3rd and 4th and have to drive it like it has a KA and it will be way more fun... sassafras"

Turbo lag/gearing up is like all the fun and left leg spasms of having a slow car, with all the hauling ass and tire smoke of having a fast car.

Thanks man, yea it's fun as hell considering I've never been able to beat on anything like this. It still definitely gets sideways but it's just a littleeee to much lag. I'm probably gonna get a different turbine housing and get my limiter raised like 500-700 rpms. The heads built but I've never really heard great story's from revving out sr's... Wish I could get a neo ve head

Not much is really happening with it, need some new front tires badddd and im thinking about changing the turbo setup. Got some new goodies inside, power acoustik touch screen headunit, suede wrapped the doors, glove box and shift boot, and finally got the bride in. Still need to find a damn ashtray..
