PostSubject: Neilgro's somewhat build   June 12th 2008, 1:07 am

Okay so i'm super bored so i decided to make one of these. Bring a laptop to the toilet and read.

I bought the car from LeMoine around the first week of March. I paid 3 stacks for a completely stock, automatic, 167k mile, clean rust free car on FWD offset sportmax's. So far this is my third s13 and seventh car.

First things first, i had to get rid of the sportmax's. Sold em to some hondaboy for 300 bucks and bought the 0 offset ones in bad condition from my guy Justin for 100 dollars. Justin also hooked me up wit a zenki lip.

One problem solved, but noticed the battery light kept goin on. Replaced the alternator and thermostat since i was already taking the housing off. After that was over, the radiator decided to be a scumbag and crack where the upper hose attaches. I was too annoyed to put the new one in so Nachtmensh put it in for me, thanks kevin.

So the car looks ugly as dick.

Yeah... those pictures hurt me soul.

Also the aftermarket head unit in the car took a deuce on me so i replaced it with a Jensen DVD flip out that a buddy hooked me up with and some kicker 12" sub for some boom boom.

So time passes by and out of the blue, phil (jdmwackness) texts me and asks me if i want coilovers.

Picked up and installed the same day some JIC FLA-2 coils.

So two problems fixed:

FWD offset wheels gone, replaced with somewhat better wheels.
Stilt suspension replaced by bomb coilovers.

Oh yeah picked up a 180sx center garnish for 30 bucks at the junkyard right by my house in elgin.

Now i had to get rid of that slushbox. The auto trans was slipping on me, sometimes not shifting into second. It took me a while to source all the parts for some reason and i was broke for a long ass time. Picked up most of the stuff at DD21. OEM exedy clutch, butt plug knob, and oem shift boot picked up at mynismo.com.

Started workin' on the swap the day after DD21.

Finished product.

So now i'm getting sick of the condition and look of my wheels so i decide to paint em. Spent about 5 or 6 hours and 31 dollars on everything.

That is my buddy Tomasz....not me.....he likes to model.

After paint was done, got some Azenis size 205/50/15 on the fronts.

That's it for now, more shit to come later aka when i get more money.

Neil.

Bolted on the spacers and wheels earlier tonight.

Sorry for the cell phone pics, its all i have.
