| Try sticking some more of that super glue in the sections that did not stick down dirty d. That may do the trick. Just do not get it in open sight, or glue your finger. | |

Vertical sections would not help. The trouble spots are the ends where it is indented. The material wasn't able to stretch in those areas, and would wrinkle up.

| I did this same thing with my last car and it came out ok. What I was told to do for the best results with those door panels is to cut that piece out from the panel. Wrap it. Then glue it back in with some special glue shit, maybe like jb weld or somthing. I was told this by the guy that does custom interiors at work. | |

| meh. Most likely going to be redoing it in the summer with genuine suede instead of the fake stuff. got rid of the AIV and charcoal canister today as well as the respective vacuum lines. Also finally installed the altima fans I picked up from red over a year ago | |

| There is no right way to do the door panels other than getting it professionally done. I have tried numerous times, so has Broadfield, all with the same results. I did ithe Gucci in 1 piece and it looked fucking great. No creases, perfect stick, etc. It will stick for a month or so, but on super hot days they will peel. Even tired cutting out the panel, wrapping it, and fiberglassing back on. Same fucking thing.
Professionals not only use 2 pieces but the strength of their glue is much better. Nothing over the counter will hold for very long. Even industrial strength 3m in the can wont work. It would be nice to try and vacum seal the fabric like the factory did.

| Yea, I was able to block off all the lines. But I think I might rewire it so the fans only run when the car is on and temp is high instead of being based solely on temperature - whiterps13 wrote:

Yea, I remember you talking about how broadfield was trying to figure out a way to do it with two pieces, and having a seam down the middle. But, I am just going to have it done professionally over the summer or fall

started messing around with the front splitter/skid plate today. Drilled out some mounting holes and took a few measurements. Just need to get some mounting hardware and install it tomorrow.

| Italian suede. My brother knew someone who was able to get it at a cheaper price, so he ended up paying 18/sq. ft rather than 35/sq. ft. | |
