| Decided to make a thread showing off what has become of my car since the time I have owned it. I bought this car a few years ago. I dont have any pictures of it when I first bought it, but it looked like any other pos 240 with some shitty kazera wheels and rockin a 4x4 status. I blew the head gasket bout a year ago and decided that I would turbo the car while fixin shit. At the start I was just goin to run a t28 and have a little fun with it but then I got crazy and I started buyin parts like it was cool. So now this car has gone from a little project street car to a full out rebuild of the entire car. Old oil soaked block New motor with lots of shit done to it. got a new garret gt3076r then i decided to tub the car, still havent finished painting it yet though. Then i picked up these wheels. alot of you guys probably recognize these wheels. also picked up a z32 trans not that long ago. sending the bell housing out at the end of this week for machining. car as it sits now. left alot of info out so ask questions if you want. By the end of this build motor should be putting out round 500 | |

| you definitely hit the ground running. Good luck with the build. I would normally say kat is a monumental waste of time, but I think you might be one of the few who have the money and patience to do it the right way.
Got speed. If you ever have a doubt in your mind about the kat working out, just get an SR and be happy. Best advice Ic an give. | |

| So haven't worked on the car for a while because I've been working a lot but I found some time this weekend to do some things. got all the suspension stuff in. Everything is new as far as front suspension goes except for the cross member. I got SPL Tension rods, Progress sway bar, Nismo power brace, and Nismo rack bushings. Still need to get 5 lug hubs and coils. Z32 trans stuff came in and After that I put the motor in Turned out good but fuck JGS and their stupid mounts. Actually they are good quality and the motor mounts aren't bad to install but since I'm running a z32 trans shit got gay with the trans mount. So I go to look on the website to see how they want the cross member to be modified but they only have the instructions for their prototype trans mount or some shit and not the production trans mount soo wtf. What ever though I just used some shit I had laying around to offset the trans mount so that it would work. | |
