here it is when we picked it up and jammed it in the fit.



got it home and unloaded, getting it out of the car was 10x harder than getting it in.



pretty ugly with all that useless shit. Got it up on a stand and started tearing it down.



popped the vc off to see how it looked inside. Looks like a brand new motor!




and here's how it looks now.




my engine cover is kinda scratched which is a bummer. but the motor will look a lot cooler once the ITB's and trumpets are on.

Sick engine though. I'm thinking of picking up a 3S myself. Not a Beams though.

Just get it repainted/powder coated the same colors it already is and it'll look jammin again. I don't know much else about BEAMS motors, but they look cool.

thing is 3 different colors with fancy lettering and borders.

and you cant powdercoat plastic.

anyways:

sent my engine harness out today for Matt and Mark to build me a custom one and mod/tune an AEM ems.

making moves.

This will be so epic. I love me some BEAMS. I still want to get another 6th gen Celica with a redtop Beams for a daily.

Getting kind of pissed with parts vendors and forum sellers lately.

Got refunds on the last 3 items I bought due to them being out of stock (though they advertised 10+ being available)

and a club4ag faggot lied about what kind of itb's he was selling, so they were the wrong ones. gay.

ITB manifold came in. 1 of 2 in the US currently.

With throttles mounted. I dont have hardware to mount the throttles yet, so I can't do full on-engine pics yet.

the quality on this thing is unreal for being the second one made, fitment is spot on. ports are perfect, clearance for injectors and everything are good. I'm ultra happy with it. running to the HW store in the AM i believe to try to find some screws to bolt the throttles down.
