| Testament to good quality coilovers.
I can still turn these by hand without using spanners or anything. after something like 5 years of them being on the car, rain and shine.
and yea, thought that was odd name for a bearing company. I wanted to get OEM koyo heavy duty jams, but every time I tried to buy them they were out of stock.

| Good to see you decided to have gussets done. But it's an interesting door bar gusset. I almost always see them like this. I have no idea if it matters at all or whatever. Looking good though. Mocking the engine next? | |

| I didnt really decide it haha. Vinny is kind of just having fun with it now that the hard part is done. He's going to do the main hoop and rear X as well I think.
Still need to do the harness bars. I suspect that vinny is a little nervous about doing them without me there for measurement purposes. he marked a location while I was sitting in the seat last time I was there, but I think he wants to double check to ensure that it is in the proper location.
Yes, next order of business is mocking up the engine and trans mounts, taking care of a few small rust spots, then it will be time for paint.
Meanwhile, I dropped my front calipers off to be powdercoated today.

| finished cage today. I could not be happier with how it turned out. Also got my calipers back from josh. they look sweet. Going to rebuild them in the morning took all the hard lines out of my engine bay to make it easier to paint. | |

theres a few other things he's doing. a few small rust repair spots, mostly just sanding surface rust out. plugging sunroof hole, and most importanly, mounting engine trans. once those things are done, its painting time. Then assembling.

Them important details and such.

| rebuilding calipers went well, everything is all set to go back on the car. This is my first time ever doing wheel bearings or rebuilding calipers or anything like that, so I guess the true test will be if they actually work, once on the car. Pads are Hawk HPS, lines are Goodridge, rotors are 88rotors | |

| I didn't realize your car was a sunroof car until I saw that yesterday. Looks good. I'm still iffy on the rear diagonals on the cage. The rest looked fine. I only know cages from looking at pictures. Not sure if it matters at all. | |

| You mean the x bars? Or the lateral bars that come down from the hoop to the floor?
Most cars have those going to the same point as the x brace, connecting to the rear shock towers, However corolla shock towers are not load bearing or structural, so we had the lateral bars go to the frame rails, and the x-brace tie to the shock tower bar.
