| I found that my starter was cracked and broke . I went out and bought another, installed it . Now my car won't start, my lights and everything else comes on . Also the car will jump start and run but won't start with the key . I need help ASAP, please any ideas(useful ideas) welcome. THANKS!!! | |

| try a battery you know works because thats the only thing it could be if it starts from a jump | |

| by jump start you mean jumping it from another car right or are you just saying the car dont start with the key im confused if it was infront of me i would know the problem.more details | |

| Jumping it with cables it does the same thing as if I was useing the keys, NOTHING. If have PUSH START it, my car runs and drives. | |

| Does the starter have the power cable from the battery? Signal wire sending the signal to crank? have a good ground on your motor (grounding out the starter)?
thats all it needs... | |

Thanks I'll check that too. u didn't cheak that before u posted 2 thing to cheack alternator fuse and go over everything u touched u said this happened after a starter change? | |

| is you starter signal wire plugged into the starter.there should be a power a ground and the signal wire on the starter | |
