| Anyone know if some shops in the area between 60007 (Elk Grove) and 60453 (Oak lawn) that stock high temperature brake fluid? Something like Motul RBF600 or ATE super blue/gold. TF has that Project µ stuff bit $40 is a bit much considering I prolly need two quarts. AMS stocks the RBF but it is way out of my way home. I'm kinda in a bind and need to bleed my brakes this weekend...Autocross next satyrday and I will have 0 time this week. Thanks in advance.

| TF can only get Project µ fluid but that sheet is $40/liter...they don't normally stock it though.
Thanks anyway I ended up running out to AMS, turned out they had my manifold in from fabrication.

| Superblue is like $15bux
But Ford (aka Motorcraft) is available in very close boiling points at any Vatozone for like $7

| I would use superblue but I caint seem to find anyplace that stocks it...aside from mailorder.
I definitely thought about the ford heavy duty fluid (C6AZ-19542 or PM1C) since it has only 40º less dry boiling point compared to RBF600. The wet boiling is 284º which means I will have to change it out often.
I have the rear brake line running 1/8" away from my downpipe so I don't mind spending the extra dough for a few degrees of extra insurance.
I managed to run through both bottles of RBF that I picked up from AMS (let the reservoir run low sucking air into the master cylinder), so I am back at square one looking for more. At least they are open till 7 tonite.

| Apparently what I was told was wrong, TF does have other fluid aside from Project µ. I just picked up two ½ litres of Brembo Sport Evo 500++ for $10/ea, not bad. Its not rated as high as the RBF but it had a higher wet boiling point than the ford.
Since I literally caint run out to AMS today (late for work this morning due to car breakdown) this is my best option.

| DUDE MOTUL RBF600 or bust!
My close friends and I only use Motul RBF600...one of which drives a GT3C and motul is recommended for that car..to say the least.

| Yes I know motul is the sheet...that is not the point of this thread. Where to find some is.
Not that it will help me any longer since it turns out that my front calipers need rebuilding...hence my problem with bleeding. Guess I will order some fluid along with my seals from Wilwood.
