| get it from 91, as the calipers are aluminum. they change to iron ones around 93ish
if the calipers aren't loaded, you'll need all the little hardware from nissan. there are front/rear pads and ebrake shoes ebake shoes are only available from Nissan and mu.

| if you are just changing the calipers, rotors, and brake lines, you will not be able to retain the parking brake function since the 300zx uses a drum-type parking brake mechanism. | |

| you can keep the ebrake with R33 cables just fine, or just extend the cables.
as far as bolting up - sorta you'll need the conversion lines as well. SPL has them under 100 for all 4.
getting a bigger MC would help too. nabco IIRC is the one that is easier to use than tokico one. I could be wrong tho. been long time since i got it.

if you do... get what i got.. from a 93 TT alluminum caliper 30mm. and then you will have to buy hardware from pdm-racing.com for like 68 shipped i think. just make sure that you remember that you have to buy hardware because i think they dont come with it when you buy the calipers...well not for me and my friends anyways

| yea i was going to get the calipers loaded with pads and hardware. it would save me some trouble. the TT calipers take different mounting brackets don't they? is that what your talking about at pdm? and the 5 lug and z32 conversion is no rush just wanted some knowledge before getting into it so pm some prices on the 5 lug conversion thanks | |

| na 90 - 26mm alu 90-93 TT and 91-93 na - 30mm alu 93-96 - 30mm iron
all pads are same all mounting is same
if you get unloaded calipers, they don't come with pins and crap that you need to buy from dealer or Pdm, check where you can get them cheaper tho.
as far as loaded calipers - you're pretty much a bolt on affair (i'd loose the shitty pads tho)

| To keep the e-brake functioning you need R33 cables for an S14 and Z32 cables for an S13. You also need the backing plates.
Front calipers/rotors are an easy job if you have 5 lugs you simply cut off the brake dust shield, connect the conversion lines and 2 bolts on each caliper and your set, then just bleed the system. Speed bleeders help so invest in some. If your going with the rears as well then like I said you need the e-brake cables from the appropriate car and the rear calipers/rotors and the backing plates which usually have worn out e-brake shoes and you will need to replace them.
Also if your doing both the fronts and rears its a good idea to get the 300ZX master brake cylinder because otherwise your brakes wont feel that great since the Z32 MC is much stronger then the stock 240 MC. YOu have to remember that your getting 4 piston calipers up front vs. 1 piston calipers.

| sorry for so long to reply, i forgot..
i work at nissan and you CANT get hardware from them OR napa..i dont even believe you can buy loaded calipers anymore...
the ONLY way to get hardware for the calipers (from what i was told, and what i did) is through
pdm-racing.com
that is where you can buy your hardware for your fronts. make sure you get the alluminum calipers also,.. the 30mm. the conv. lines. then you can also buy the front hubs from nissan..(i can get you a deal..like 107 a piece, so 215 for fronts) also buy some hawk pads, and do what i did(buy some brembo blanks) they are cheap and effective;
