just ordered one of these
the exhaust will be modified to tuck up higher for sure! it's an HKS Sport exhaust. after conversing with Marlon, and watching some vids on youtube with it, i think i will be happy with the exhaust. the stock exhaust is 1.75" while this is ~2". i will be replacing the cat with a test pipe for now, but i will later get a cat to make everything that much quieter.
it will also be painted black so it looks better and doesnt rust
sound clip:
different tips will be added also

Listen, Kevin. HKS is cool.
REALLY COOL. BUT. THat exhaust looks like absoulte shit and is super tiny. At least do 2.25 or 2.5. Id have done 2.25 in straigth pipe with titanium canister and i nice angle exit, slight upwards slant. Would look and sound fucking grand.
Way cheaper also. Oh well.

more than likely it will be made into a 1 tip exhaust and i will redo the piping to 2.25". remember that it is only a 1.6L motor, so larger starts to drone real bad.
plus, later when i get my pulley, i want to hear the SC more than the exhaust coming out.

still waiting on my exhaust. but in the mean time i addressed some issues. yesterday i built a skid plate/ smooth underbody panel that will smooth out the rear of my car where the exhaust is. airflow is normally all over the place under there, and my exhaust was the lowest part of my car. so i wanted to build something to protect it. i still need to trim paint it once the HKS gets here. so no shots of it yet because it isnt the prettiest of things just yet.
i also chopped up my quarter panels a bit more. my rear tires were rubbing on any turn that was reasonably hard, so more clearance was needed.

and how the car sits (damn she looks cool right now...)

cant really see the change in wheel well size.
How much of the underbody does the plate cover?

theres about an inch off the wheel wells. try using the holes for the rivets as a reference point.
the plate covers from about the centerline of the rear wheels to the middle of the rear trunk. you can see a silhouette of the end of it in the last pic.
im starting to really like how the car is turning out. i really want to do something with the rear wing to make it more aggressive. maybe extend it another 2-4" back and tilt it forward. about 10° or so.
im gonna photoshop it because im bored
