| I believe heavythrottle is selling a redtop swap for 3k but they do a lot of work to insure that it is in fact a good motor.
You could pick them up for much cheaper, but then you may have to go through what I did.

| yea, I was looking at heavy throttle and 240sx motoring i think? One part of the dohc swap that seems like a bitch is swapping out for the dohc power steering. Not to mention not really knowing the condition of the engine. If anyone has done a dohc swap and would like to help me out when I finally get to it, it will be appreciated. | |

Its the same motor used in the C6R, just detuned a bit. aka 07 z06 motor. with that much power your gona need a wide body kit... that motor alone is $8000+ then custom fab to hold it in the bay and not have the motor run away fromt he car. thenn... the wide body kit... idk how much that is.. i don't like body kits...

| I contacted Import AutoPerformance about their KA24ET turbo kit. they said it will fit the DE as long as i get the DE manifold. So, if I take the KA path, I might just turbo the single and then swap over to Dual when I get the engine and rebuild it and all that good stuff | |
