| I'm working on this burnt s13 that my ex-boyfriend decided was a "bargain of a lifetime". The right side of the engine is all burnt up. I'm working on the wire harness now, but I want to find out what caused the fire first. I thought the fuel line leaked, but when I turn the key on, no fuel is leaking. What else can cause fires on these engines? | |

| welcome to chicago area 240sx as for your engine fire well its kind of hard to say without pics, but the right side of the engine is were the fuel is delivered to the engine, but you said that there isnt any fuel leaking so it just might be crossed wires possibly on the harness which is my best bet to start with |

| We cant tell shit without pics, could be a million things. Im not an arson inspector. DOes is still run? Probably not. In any case, just pull the engine and shit, clean up the bay, redo the wiring if necessary and throw another junkyard ka in there and get rolling. | |
