Just when you thought I was done. Dave’s 180SX build.

so i am super bored. figured i should introduce my car here and the progress its going through.
heres when i first bought it.


bought the car from 14k. stock, auto 1993 fastback se, leather interior, stock cd/tape player, no rust (texas car).

the car stayed stock for a while cause i had no job, went to school, and all that jazz. then fusion sold me his wheels. 17x9 +24-front, 17x10.5+27-rear


ofcourse they were 5 lug so five lug had to come in. only had money for one set of 5 lugs so i bought fronts, being the easiest to install.


then nothing happened for the longest.

then i got a welded diff for mad cheaps.


i had my fun with it then it blew on me. luckily not while on the highway and luckily it didnt lock up on me. gears ate thru the cover. splashed nasty shit all over my gas tank and bumper. oh well i still had my open diff.

then i got tired of the slush box and headed to the junkyard to get my 5 speed stuff. everything came out of a black coupe with a rear end that was done for.

with no time in my hands my 5 speed swap become into what is now called the 5 week swap. hahaha.

then i threw on my ichiba front 5 lug hubs, still not finished with 5 speed stuff... hahahaha


got some z wheels,


then i jumped on some radical ass ddrug coilovers from my bebe...
(still not done with 5 speed but close, still had wiring to do)


so by now i had taken off that stupid foam wing. FUCKING RUST. this had just happened over the winter since i had dailyed it. luckily it didnt rust through. sanded down most of the rust anyway.


so then i figured, dude im not gonna have a slushbox anymore, lets get an exhaust. since im not a big fan on cansiter style exhaust and a local was selling a radical exhaust that i quickly jumped on a buddy club spec II.
it was either this or a straight 3" (kinda wish i would have gone straight pipe but i love this exhaust too much to give it up now)

also came with a megan 3" test pipe


soon right after, i finished the wiring.then............bam no trans fluid hahahaha. so i ordered some redline fluids from summit. waited 3 days for it. filled er up then i started the car. GOD DAMN. felt so good.
so then i met up with lil phil and picked up some 25mm spacers. threw them on and the z wheels too. i dropped the car. being the first time lowering a lowered car from up high, i blew it. car rolled off some bricks, crashed up my garage and sure enough the rear landed on the jack denting the fuck outta my gas tank. since i had no other jack, i jacked up the car from the gas tank yadda yadda yadda. all was good drove around making loud noices and such.






then i got a broadway mirror.


got some weaksauce strut bars


threw my mustangs on up front and knew i needed to go lower.


got a hub and qr and an ebay wheel


so then i bought some z hubs. i was told they were na hubs not tt hubs. not having the knowledge at hand i thought i was jipped because their was a tab on the hubs. blah blah i freaked. went to tf for hubs and came out with hubs and brake pads hahaha


threw on the hubs which was easier than i thought


yea i again i needed to go lower. i was told the ddrugs were seized so i didnt bother to mess with them. i later then sold the ddrugs to a good friend of mine and bought LongGrain's stances which went up for sale not long ago. anyway, ryan knows whats cool and my ride height soon became a product LongGrain's ultra good car style. i was finally at nice ride height.


then i bought tires for the mustangs. i need minimal spacing for the rear so i cant run them since they rub the car from the inside of the wheel.


OH, i also got some kouki tail lights and borrowed some white battles from mike.




then i bought a front bumper finally. some of you may recognize it...


then i ditched my gay ebay wheel for a nice piece. again, some of you may recognize this wheel...


thats about it really. i got the rest of my aero to throw on still.  tuesday some Ooo dang kids came over and swaped my diff for a welded from roskis old car. thanks a ton guys always a pleasure to have yall over. oh they also bled my clutch pedal and took off my rear bumper.

i kinda feel like i owe a couple of thanks to people. so here goes. i really wanna give thanks to the squad. yall have been koo and shit giving me pointers, hanging out, and just really having a blast all the time. much thanks to yall. to my Ooo dang buddies for having that helping hand always there. thanks a ton to you fellas. and a special thanks for homeboy and mike. mike for being a good friend and always lookin out and shit. homeboy for always being there. thru thick and thin. and although you kinda suck ass with a wrench in your hand, youve always and never had a problem being there when i need help and loot the most. thanks brah. guess thats it really. just felt i had to do this for respect to these people. now sit back and watch real chicago soul take this car down the long road of awesomeness and dusty wallets.

Wooord fisho. Oh also forgot to mention that I bought a pair of wheels for the rear since heavy china mustangs and a vatozone clutch won't do me any good for those nights of fun fun.
