| The car is a 91 hatch and i have been having problems with locking up the rear wheels. The e-brake works fine for parking but not so well for sliding. I tried tightening the 10mm bolt inside the e-brake boot but that just made it harder to pull with same crappy results...any help is appreciated. |

| Bleed your system but get new pads. My girl feels tighter after that usually.... |

| pop the wheels off. adjust it that way if u need to afterwards. |

| Mine where on some bullshit too, but thats cause my giude pins where seized... Check that out too. And upgrade ur pads if u can. |

| try tightening the bracket above the drive shaft or check the calipers its kinda hard to tell unless im driving it |

| when you are talking about drifting.. are you doing any weight transfer? my ebrake wont lock up either if i am driving straight and rip the ebrake. this might be a dumb question. but are you pushing in the clutch when you rip the ebrake? |

| GOOD PADS..problem solved. I ran into the same problem, car would hold when I put the ebrake up but wouldn't lock the wheels. Even after I adusted the cable. Ordered some project mu pads from touge factory, ebrake all day... |
