1998 S14 Kouki
-JIC coilovers
-rear springs
-automatic (5spd swap is pretty easy to do)
-60,053 miles
Its finally time to sell my daily S14. I've had it for almost 3 years with no problem and bought it with 52K miles. This car is perfect for KA-T with only 60K miles! Perfect for swap too!
Unlike most midwestern cars this one has NO rust on the frame rails at all. When i bought this car it came from Texas, and the previous owner bought it from North Carolina. The car has only seen 1 light midwestern winter. it was parked for the other 2 winters in the garage. The car was always garaged and never left outside.
My original plan with this was to make a full drift car KA-T, but since then ive gotten a new car and dont really need this one anymore. This car has NO radio or speakers, i took them out. Not a big deal since 99% of most people will change to a better system or strip it. Also no rear seat belts. A/C blows VERY cold.
Overall the car is all stock besides the coilovers and springs.
The front coilovers are JIC Magic FLT-A2's WITH the JDM valving (the jdm valving is more aggressive and harder to come by). These were bought from Up Garage Japan. The rear has factory shocks and aftermarket lowering springs that were also bought from Up Garage. Not sure of the brand of springs but i was informed they are Swift. This car is a VERY stiff ride, the coils are not soft at all.
The car does have Zenki tails but it is a 1998. I had koukis on it but i wanted some cash and i had a free set of Zenkis laying around.
The body is very straight just like the underside..a few dings on the passenger side and rear bumper, and one small dime sized dent in the hood.
It has new tires on the rear, just changed the oil, and all the fluids.
car is about 1 1/2hrs south of chicago
this car was hit on driver side rear qtr panel. nothing bad. it was hit when the previous owner had it. it was repaired professionally and the entire side was repainted to blend the paint correctly. still clear title.
also..there is a rattle coming from the motor bay but it is just the header heat shield. they usually begin to rattle over time. but who keeps the header heatsheild? no one
my original plan was to sell it for $8,500, but since it doesnt have the kouki tails my price is:
7,900No trades for anything, dont ask.p.s. my name is 'topsecrt88' on NICO (sucks) and zilvia. this cars legit..edgar should be able to vouch for me.
thanks!
