motors cranking, but wont turn over.

like it says the motors finally starting to crank over, but its not starting.



im thinking theres a lack of spark but i dont know. any ideas?

yeah i have the same problem with mine but u need to remove the 1st spark plug an leave it attached to the wire an have a frind start the ride an with the plug find a ground an see if there is spark if not check else were. mine motor turns but no fire so i am really up to my pantalones in finding out whats up, so if u can find out what affects that u can start ur ride let me know so i can do the same to mine oppps my bad 4 got that u had an sr motor sorry still running ka24de well let me know

yeah i tried it out before looking for some kinda spark, then i
realized that the harness i was using was missing a ignition relay. so
tommorrow morning i gota pull the ignition relay out of the other
harness and put it in the harness thats in the car now.

so if ur not getting any spark, check if its the plug if not that then
check ur plug wires, then if not that then check the distributor. and
if its none of the above then you got a bigger problem to worry about
lol. but like you said you still have the KA so i doubt its gonna be a
problem that bad. :nod:

come to find out since its a 5 speed there is some kind of clutch switch under the clutch pedel an i dont have it so with out it u cant start it up . i am going to pick in pull junkyard later on this weekend an see if i can get it

if you dont have it it shouldnt even crank... cuz clutch switch prevents the engine to start or crank...

i went to the local junk yard and i got the clutch peddle 4 $45 bucks an i am going to install it so wish me luck . hope fully it fires up . if u do a auto to manuel swap . does the auto ecu needs to be removed an install a 5 speed ? an does it matter if its not the same year ? cuz my car is now a 91 but i belive it an auto ecu , maybe cuz it wont fire up . but i have a 92 5 speed ecu will it help if i install it ? can any help me out with this ? ohh and 1 more question ....... has any one ever heard of 359 garage ? its a high performance shop and the what not ?

ill see if that the case but i do know that the everything has been checked on even timing . but if anyone has thier peace of mind on how it went theres hit me up

i duno man so turns out it wasnt the ignition relay or whatever, which
really threw me off, so im gonna check the ecu to see if it got spiked
or whatever, then if its nto that then im gonna go through the whole
electrical system again to see where i lose voltage so i can fix it. i
hope this works

so yeah i found out that the timing was very wrong holy moly . wayy beyond . so it fired up but there was a major problem , and it didnt want to stay alive and for some reason i hear air pressure like phessh sound so t i think there is a compression lose . i dont know ill see what happens next if u know some thing hit me up
