| Cleaned with maf cleaner and changed the O2 sensor before the cat. I unplugged my MAF, and it idled fine. But with it plugged in, it iddled like crap and died quickly | |

| how's the motor now? is it still doing the same thing? same thing happend to me. i was messing around with the connection on the maf and that fixed the problem. | |

| I got a new maf and it is still doing the same thing. Except now it idles around 500 and is very shakey. I will try to wiggle the connections and see if that will work | |

| When i first changed my car from the Original airbox assembly to a cone filter setup it did this to me also...would die at lights, and idle like crap. Reason for this was it wasnt completely sealed with the filter adapter.....i made my own and now it works fine...also, make sure that little thingie that hangs off the maf and goes into your airbox isnt hanging out. If worse comes to worse, wiggle the shit out of all your wires. | |

| check the plug. if its dirty clean it out with some baking soda and a tooth brush. | |

| I cant find what section the maf is in the fsm. But now it idles around 500 when cold and 900 when warm. I have a new oem maf sensor and housing, so I will try to look for it some more.
On a side note: My gas mileage went up from 21 mpg to 28 mpg. Go me | |

| told you, idk on the MAF, since Nissan used a hot-wire type MAF it could have been contaminated/kinda broken/heat material warn off/basically anything | |
