| Last bits for my tie rods came in. Using TE72 outers and adjustment sleeves with standard 86 rack ends. makes the tie rod into a 3 piece turnbuckle style, so it adjusts similar to aftermarket ones. kinda cool. Needed them because the stock jams were not long enough for the extended LCA and new knuckles. installed and aligned it the best I could, i think the rack is at proper center, but not sure, going to have to confirm once I get an alignment. Yes, I put anti seize on everything because fuck stuck bolts/threads. Test fitted the traction brackets. dead nuts fitment on the first try. Not bad having programmed the dimensions based on measurements I took with a shitty tape measure. AVO rear coilovers came in from Ireland finally, these things are pretty nice. Cant wait to see how they feel. just begging to bolt the axle in! more updates soon. | |

| Looks great! Are you going to paint the underside or wheel wells of this thing ever? With all the work you have into it now, that will be and amazing touch. That's something I really want to do one day. | |

| I want to, probably undercoating rather than paint, or maybe something like por15. Something that you can use on dirty metal and it will still stick, I cant imagine trying to prep the bottom of a car, especially without it being on a rotisserie or something. | |

| Amazing.
Are supra rear-ends like bulletproof or something?

| its a 7.5" F-code rear end as apposed to the 86 6.7" T-code. Has 28mm axles instead of 25.
So considerably stronger, i've heard of people running like 400hp through them without issues.
For reference, S-chassis uses an 8" rear end and people essentially never break those, even with a shit load of power, and this is not much smaller.

| So I painted the diff and put it back in. Looks pretty nice I think. so that's that I guess. it's in the car now. Satty took my panhard bar with him last time he was here so that he could extend it, that got done today. chopped in half with extension piece before machining. machined down for a perfect press fit into the old bar sections beveled the edges for welding and finally, welded up. Still need pads, lines and rotors for the rear end before it can drive, but it should be back on the road in a week or two. Ordering parts is hard when you're living that broke life. | |

| I did some stuff and got some things. vintage NIB solex locks, picked up at a local car show/swap meet for like 1/4 of normal price. JDM corner lights and decided to finally do a brake upgrade. Snagged these calipers from a local turbo FC nerd for dirt cheap, got them disassembled, cleaned and painted. Going to rebuild them and order the rest of the stuff for the conversion after DD52. | |
