| hey specter i looked into on board diagnostics in my automotive book...and it refers to all cars pre 1996 as obd1....during my two years of automotive class i was taught by a verry respectable teacher...(brian elliot of Willowbrook highschool he's taken the school team to numerous competitions and won...my school was rated 1st in the state and 7th i think in the nation a couple years back...so pretty knowledgeable guy)...he's always taught me obd1...so i dont know man he's ase certified.... | |

| right see this gets debated to hell on every ASE site...
1996 and older is OBD0 1996 and newer is OBD2
HOWEVER in the span of 1992-1995 auro manufactures were in the testing stages of OBD2 thus creating the hybred monster OBD1
HOWEVER these cars were only relised in CA to see if they passed muster under the new OBD2 laws set forth by the CA emissions
they are rare... REALLY RARE but there are OBD1 cars.
everything else is OBD0 or OBD2 pre and post '96 respectivly

| ANYWAYS my point is that if it's a '95 240sx S-14 then it drops in.
1996 and up you need to convert
