| if this thing is still a corolla when I'm done i'll be pissed. I've been doing all this work hoping it would be a 240 by the time I'm finished. | |

| Bro is this even a real corolla? I heard this used to be a Tercel. My boys cousin told me his friends co-worker knows the guy who converted this thing to rwd. | |

| modified my dash and cluster bezel and did a test fit of the stack, just getting a feel of how i'm going to do the dash. going to cut that cardboard piece out of aluminum and wrap it in carbon vinyl I think. | |

| bought some cool jdm gadgets to help accomodate the sensors for the stack. BILLION cooling specialist temp sensor adaptor and Blitz oil filter sandwich plate. then they were so jdm that they were a different thread pitch than the stack sensors, so I risked ruining them and bought a tap and die set to thread them to the correct pitch. before, fully tightened. yea not going to work. now everything fits nicely. | |

| not going to do that until next year I think, since I'm going to have to do a whole new exhaust then too. The buddy club is going to be too small, so for the sake of saving time for this season I'm just having a downpipe made to mate the stock header to my current exhuast, then next year, custom header and full exhuast. | |

| drove down today to get some things done. threw some new Denso Iridium plugs in the motor. also pulled out all the stock fuel hardlines from under the car (pain in the fucking ass) installed the oil sandwich. with this thing I should be able to run a larger diameter filter too. also made a plate to mount the stack. it doesnt fit perfectly in the dash surround, but its not bad. I'll probably redo it a lot nicer at some point but this does the job for now. Also made it match my door panels. | |

| JESUS.
I will say one thing. I hate that brushed aluminum shit. Reminds me of hot rods in a corny way. Can you wrap that cluster surround and door shit in 3M carbon?

| going to either do the cluster surround in black or carbon vinyl. That plate WAS wrapped in carbon vinyl, but cutting it just ruined it so i peeled it off and did that to it.
door panels maybe, I actually kind of like them in aluminum, but we'll see.
so pumped on this clutch though. Got it for an awesome price and it came with flywheel bolts, which saves me another $100+
