so car looks like this now
vinny said quarter panel should be done, or at least really close to done tomorrow, then its cage time, and cage should not take long.
he said he's hoping to have the engine in the car in 2 weeks.
My project for the day was my fuel pump.
all these fittings came today.
when I got down there my tank was already out, which was nice, because you cant change 86 fuel pump with the tank in the car.. but you CAN change the sender, which is retarded.
anyways, i took the pump hanger assembly out and noticed that the pump had already been replaced with a turbo supra unit. Oh well, I changed it anyway.
I cut off the hard lines coming from the pump hanger and then drilled out the holes really big. used some -6 bulkhead fittings, some o-rings, -6 to barb adapters, and some other stuff and came up with this.
new OEM denso supra turbo fuel pump, new strainer, and adapted everything for -6an
I also started planning my ecu/relay board.

went through like 3 boxes of ae86 wiring harnesses today to get the plugs I'm going to need for the chassis harness.
that was not fun, but I think i have everything needed, minus the front turn signal plugs, tail light harnesses, starter signal plug and alternator plug, which are with the car currently.

i gotta ask mark again what the aem rev limit is set to. its 8 or 9.
engine is safe to 10, but i know they set it earlier than that just for extra safeness.
