| progress was made this weekend. electrical issues are sorted... headlights and tail lights work reliably and SAFELY now. While we were at it we wired the fans to the ignition so they are always on. Dropped the rear end off at Diamond Automotive to have the new third member swapped in and new axle bearings pressed in. Diff out while were waiting, I got all the 4 links ready to go. work bench. all finished. I just need to pick up a couple new bolts to replace the ones we torched and we'll be able to bolt the diff in when I pick it up on friday. phew... time to go drink

| hey so drift day is tomorrow. I've slept about 9 hours in the last 6 days. the car runs and drives now... Ride height is all jacked up, somehow even though the threads are the same length side to side, one side in the rear is like 2 inches higher than the other. Tomorrow I have to fix ride height, get some tires swapped around, and hammer/pull the dog shit out of my fenders. Other than that the car is ready for drift day.. finally. as you can see, ride height is drag racer spec. Also, absent fiberglass pieces are being repainted | |

| What the fuck faggot?!
You beat on it for 8+ hours plus and it doesnt skip a beat.... you get a MISFIRE and you wanna sell it?
I break all my shit 3 hours into any event/session and even then I think its a fair tradeoff for the 3 hours. Dont be a Vlado.

| it was a joke, nigga!
the selling bit, not the misfire.
I went out to go see if i couldnt kill my self in the rain.
got like 5 minutes away from home and now the car will not run for shit. It will idle, but the second you touch the gas pedal it breaks up and starts misfiring and bogging out.
I hope my fuel pump isnt bad.
it better just be a spark plug or something else really easy. I have too much other shit to buy right now.

| HAHAHAHHAHAH total me thing to do. But forreal though, go get some starter fluid right quick, spray that shit in there hardcore, and give it a bit of throttle. If it revs up okay or better, BOOM, fueling issue. Your susbstituting fuel with ether obviously. If that is it, go buy a giant tank of ether and cable activate it so that you can pull it whilst driving. | |

| I'm hoping that its like a cap and rotor thing also.
it never did this until i drove it when it was wet out.
the only thing is that its been parked in my dry garage for like 8 hours now and its not getting any better.
its not the wires because all plugs are getting spark (or at least they seem to). I pulled each wire individually and the idle acts normally when each one is pulled.

| or spray brake cleaner around the intake manifold and pipes and see if it bogs down. test vacuum leaks that way. starter fluid would make it rev up, but same thing. | |

| we think we found the issue.
so when its dark and you rev the car up, you can see the coil lead and all 4 plug wires arcing between eachother and into the air...
calling around for new plug wires and cap and rotor tomorrow, If i cant find them locally in stock, ima order some fancy TRD or NGK ones.
my timing belt is cracked all the way through in some places. so I'm getting an OEM timing belt kit also, as well as new valve cover gasket and cam seals and putting my front covers on.
fuck engines. | |

| Timing belt doesn't matter. Fix it when it breaks. Perks of a non-interference engine. Though, you get stranded somewhere. Good you found the problem. You'll probably gain some power too. | |
