| how do i bleed/add hydraulic fluid in a jack? mines dying. past a certain point, it wont lift anymore (like it used to) and i can hear the fluid move inside when i let it down.
or is it time for a new one? i've had this one since 04/05

| only problem i see with that one is that it doesnt say if its aluminum or not.
i would not buy a race jack like that thats NOT aluminum, especially if you plan on doing any tracking or anything, steel race jacks are really heavy and just a burden to lift into and out of a car if you ever take them anywhere.
i know harbor freight has some really nice low pro aluminum race jacks for $200 and under. i would check them out.

| There should be a valve on you floor jack that you would just open up and add fluid into. Any autoparts or hardware stores such as Sears should carry floorjack or hydraulic fluid. | |

| I added fluid to my aluminum craftsman jack and it solved that problem. Just add fluid until its full, pump it up and lower it a few times. Add more fluid. Not sure if thats the right way, but it worked for me. | |
