| So, my 240 has been sitting outside in the cold for the last month. I tried to move it yesterday and it seems like the clutch is stuck ingauaged. I dont have to apply the clutch to break or switch gears. I can put the car in 1st; 2nd, 3rd without press the clutch. About 5 minutes later the gear shift pop back in place (i guess ) and the gears were shifting prefectly normal, then it went back outta place or wutever. Can anyone help me??? | |

| In my opinion, the clutch is not engaging all the way. I think its possible the fluid is so old it probably absorb a ton of water making the fluid freeze. So it would not normally be compressing and moving the slave pivot. Try to flush all the old brake fluid out and put some new fluid in. It's a good idea to buy a speed bleeder for the slave cylinder and/or dampener to make things easier. | |
