| guys hi i hope everyone is getting ready for winter , i dont want to be a bother but im having problems with my s13 it dosent go over 3000 rpm sometimes and sometimes it turns off i donr think is the turbo or the motor, might be electrical , would the oxygen sensor or the mafs have someting to do with it, any ideas would really help me thanks guys, | |

| Well, what kind of engine do you have? Mine did the same in my first Sr and it turned out to be a bad ECU. | |

| sounds like maf if i unplug mine it only reaches 2500 rpm wont go any higher. and if they are bad they cause bad idle and make ur car die | |

| Could be a combination of a bad maf and a tps issue.
It could also but a timing problem, but thats kinda unlikely.
Did this problem just come up or have you just put the motor in?
It does kinda matter if the car was driving fine then all of a sudden started being gay. Check that MAF first. | |

| it sounds like MAF to me
i had to unplug mine once to get my car running again after i sucked up a shit ton of water and the MAF got wet. it ran almost exactly how you described when i didnt have it hooked up. | |
