CA240 Karting Meet - MPGP Jan. 17th!

okay okay, i got caught up last night, my gf was buying a new car, so i came about an hour late.

and i have not met most of you so pardon me for not seeing where the group was. the only person i knew was ecko and he was not racing.

Negative temps? My gauge said 22 when we left at 9pm.

Mikey, Dee said hey to you and I would have thought seeing Kevin wearing his helmet with a big CFR and CA240 sticker would give you a hint.

i must have had my head up my ass ur something. i really didnt notice. next time ill be on time and more aware lol.

but hey 36.886, two tenths off of being on the top ten fastest laps of the day.

i got 35.974 on our first race. 5th fastest of the day (later bumped to top 6, because of below)

but we think the timing was off on the last 2 races. we had people passing on the first lap before the green. making our times go to someone else. evidently my times got worse though the day i know i was going way faster on our last race, and the same with everyone else.

im pretty sure that the time that bumped my first one down was from me, but because of people passing, it went under another name. oh well.

too many :tard:s on the track yesterday. If we had atleast 10 people in our group, we wouldnt have had to deal with them (and be put to the back of the pack every time )

I am really looking forward to going here again, and i may even get that package for one year.

It was my first time doing these kind of go carts. Its a lot different from the slower ones, these lose grip so easy.

It would be great if it just our group the next time we go, because we wont have to deal with some of the shit.

People kept spinning out on the first lap, or would not even break in a corner at all.

so when do you guys want to go again? im thinking Feb. 15th at 4pm (actually 4pm this time) or earlier. sundays should have less people, especially early.

or maybe even as soon as feb 1st?

I'll go for sure this time. I just wanted to see how many people actually showed.

why do sundays suck? any way you can make it work? i want to make sure someone is there to race with me.

im really feeling the 15th. maybe noon on the 14th? (assuming you guys arent whipped and doing something with the lady that early)

Sundays are my lazy day cause I have to get up at 3:45am on Monday for work.

but what about early on sunday? like, noon to 2pm? no more waiting like last time

I would love to make it out to the track, but sundays are for sure an no-go.
I have to not only drive from Rockford to the track, but make it from the track down here to Bloomington for monday classes.
A friday or saturday would work best for me.

i guess ill start a poll
