I have for sale my 1994 240sx convertible. I bought it late last year from Konrad (aka- Shiftknob) and garaged it over the winter. The car is absolutly wonderful to drive with the top down and the sun rays shining. Also great when its nightime and the moon is lighting your path. I have gotten a few things since buying the car and they are-
Installed:Wangan wing (white duct tape covering stock spoiler holes)
custom 4pt roll bar
10mm wheel spacers w/ extended studs
Drift button
greddy counterweight shift knob
Weds sports 16x7 wheels in front and unknown 16x7 wheels in the rear
welded diff
Stance GR+ coilovers
Bought but not installed:2 bucket racing seats (red)
Steering angle spacers
New steering rack
Coupe door panels
2 extra 16x7 wheels (match the ones on the rear)
Parts on the car before I got it:Pioneer CD player w/ sony speakers replacing the stock ones. No sub woofer.
5 speed swap (everything new or next to new... even installed clutch loop)
Apex'i Hybrid exhaust
Aftermarket pressure plate w/ stock clutch
Russel speed bleeders on all 4 calipers and clutch slave cylinder
Refreshed stock KA24DE 2.4L 4 cylinder w/ roughly 8k on it since
That is all I can think of right now. The car does have a 4 pt roll bar installed so the rear seats and interior are out of the car. I have the seats and interior and they will be included with the car. I also have the inner fender liners for the front that will also come with the car. I have a stock fuel rail with some extra injectors that will come with. Finally, I have a set of Tein HR coilovers (2 rear struts are blown) that will come also.
The car has been great, but it did have a misfire that took some time to figure out. It should no longer be an issue, but figured I should mention since it was recent. Also, the front wheel bearings are clicking some and should be replaced. Thoes are the only known problem with the car's mechanics.
The car had a misfire so I replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and that didn't fix the problem. I installed a used but good fuel injector and the car wouldn't start. I had it towed to the shop and when the mechanic went to look at it, it started right up and has had no problems ever since. So as it sitts right now, the car is good to go.
The underbody is super nice! When taking out the rear end for the first time, every bolt came out with ease. The underbody has no rust!
The body is pretty good. Driver fender repaired with touch up paint. Couple dings. Spot of rust around the windshield that is really common with the verts because apparently nissan didn't prime the area correctly from the factory so they are prone to rusting. Fairly easy fix for a diy or something a body shop could do really easy.
Engine runs good. It is a stock KA so there isn't really much to say. Its a tank and can take about anything.
Interior is great besides for the door panels. If you are so inclined, you can search
www.240sxconvertible.com and either find new ones, or you can do a search to get rid of the seat belt pillars and either replace with the rear seat belts or install the provided racing seats with harnesses. Also the steering wheel is messed up from a previous owner who wore big rings. I have a spare steering wheel if you want it.
The top is in fair shape. The seals leak on both sides if at car wash or left in the hard rain. It is also a bit streached out but you have to remember, its a 1994.
