looks good for sure. get some aero too while you were at it?

I had aero ready since january (rear valence and side skirts:type-x) but I was short on time and money to have them painted. So I will just have them sent in around winter time.

It looks really good dude. Should have left the A pillars black though. Still looks good.

I meant to keep the side mirrors black too, but I didnt specify that, so they painted it white. I will have to see if it looks good when I finally put everything back together.

I was talking to my neighbor who was a subaru enthusiast, and he told me that the paint job looked like they did not even prep the car and they did not use enough clear coat. This is fucken agrivating. Looks like I am going to have to stop by hq kustoms this weekend

wasnt your GM blue fastback painted by them? It looks like it turned our well

it is pretty decent, but i guess sometimes they try harder than other cars, if iirc the previous owner said that all body work and paintjob interior and exterior of my car right now cost him 3k. so i guess money talks. my brother got a black paintjob from them for 1,500 and it looks decent at pointblank range but if look at some parts closely, shit was half fast.

well if i would had to get a paintjob from them, i would tell the prep guy to do a good job and give him some kind of tip.

the paintjob there is pretty cheap compared to other places like bodywerks etc. costing more than 4k

So I was able to reassemble the car, and I am taking it back to HQ Kustoms. The car has fish-eyes all over the car, and there is dirt underneath the paint in a bunch of places.

HQ Kustoms said they will fix all the imperfections and do a wetsand and buff. Good times.

Looks like the paints alright but hard to tell from those pics.
Front bumper looks fuxored.

the front bumpor is fuxord alright. The pignose portions got warped, and the only way i can fix it is to apply pressure and heat to fix it. Doesnt matter since i am going to be getting a new aftermarket bumper later anyway.

The paint isnt too bad, but its going back in 2 weeks to get touched up, wet sanded and buffed.

caldwell and devon, that area. i usually go to that church on sundays.

got most of the kouki aero on. But due to having a shit camera I cant take any pictures right now. Will have to wait til tomorrow when i will have a useable camera.

next up is throwing in the altima fans (thanks red7) and reupholstering the door panels, glovebox, and headliner in suede. Coilovers to follow as soon as i have an income again.
