knocking sound coming from the RR area of my car

so every time i really switch gears roughly there's a knocking sound coming from the RR area of the car somewhere near the wheel well. I took off the RR interior panel to have a look see if something was loose and hitting the quarter panel but nothing. finally my friend layed down along side my car and watched the wheel well area while i kept letting the clutch in and out letting the car grab harshly, and what he saw was my control arm where its bolted behind the rocker panel on the frame. there the frame keeps taping the control arm. is that normal? is it bad bushings?

Probably...

You should take it apart and see what it is.
Or drive it more and ignore the problem altogether.

next time i get the chance i'll show you

You should check the exhaust. Mine always hangs so close to everything it wangs some bumping noise sometimes.

My right knee clicks when I bend down. I don't really kno or understand what's going on in there so ill probably go to the doctor. Sounds like u should see a mechanic or someone who has some idea of how the simple 240 suspension works. It's probably a bad subframe bushings if I was to guess from ur explanation

yeah i think it is, now cant just that bushing be replaced? or does the whole subframe/control arm have to be replaced?

Hell no.

gotta get a whole new car I think. Those subframes are non serviceable
