The slow build of my s13

Well i bought the car in Febuary of 2011 off a guy in Stegger Ill and Ive been trying to make it look like it did 20 years ago.

I bought a 1991 240sx Se
with 114,326 miles and now it as 116,886
I don't drive it that much. Haha

I added the s14 seats, Rc autoworks Clutch master cylinder and slave, And stainless power steering hose.

When i first bought it, it looked like this.



After coils


Then i got the front and rear bumper painted to match the car, also added the pignose lip.



Also picked up some fresh door panels.

I also got my frame rails and driveside floor panel fixed by Vinny(Destructionwarehouse)

I really dont have major plans for it since winter is coming other then getting some good winter tires.

Im still debating what engine i would like to use. I had plans for a v8 and even had the trans and the mounting kit but that idea went bad very fast. For right now i'm just trying to get it how it looked 20 years ago then after im happy with it im going to start looking around for the 180sx body kit or type X whatever you wanna call it. Then ill start worrying about an engine again.

Umm kinda. But i was also thinking about getting the type X body kit and Sr20. Then calling it a day and just making it a summer car.

when u got the car it looked like it did 20 years ago....why waste money painting stock bumpers when you said your going to do a kit??

It only cost me 100 bucks to paint the front and rear was free. And i don't plan on getting the kit till next summer anyways, and thats even if i plan on getting the kit. I have a bunch of ideas for the car. Sooo right now im just trying ti piece everything together and see what will look and work best.
