engine build question

i plan to build up a redtop sr20 would it be ok to use the stock bore on the pistons to handle 400whp?

stock pistons or stock bore?

define "build"

oh and what turbo you plan on using???

stock SR can handle 400hp..

cp pistons with stock bore, i plan on goin with the gt2871 or the full race setup, havent decided yet, this car is just going to be a weekend driver

400whp is like really pushin it with a 2871.
you'd have to build the motor for sure with that turbo.

but u could do a 3076 and break the 4 mark and have a stock motor.

Broadfield is running 410hp on the FullRace twinscroll setup. Thats on completely stock s15 SR bottom end. Like 350-some ft. lb's of torque.

Have you ever driven a car with that kind of power?
Completely unneccesary on the street. Downright dangerous.

ive driven an evo that was 400 plus horsepower on the street, but ive never actually gunned it that crazy on the street, and this is a weekend project car, i only wanted to reach that power goal for the 1/4 mile maybe even a little less then 400 to keep it safe. i honestly havent looked into anything about the ka, i will though, im also researching on suspension, the car will be carefully planned out i dont plan on just throwing stuff in there and hope it runs like a dream, just taking my time and doing reasearch

A 240sx with 400whp is nothing like an evo with 400whp..

The only person ive seen drive with 400+ HP, was Juan with his KA-T S14... i think it was somewhere around 450. But other than him, even the experienced guys dont run that much power.
