| Ehh, thats if you just wax.....I washed first, clay bared, wash again to remove the clay bar residue, used a rubbing compound on certain areas of the car that was dull or lightly scratch, polished the clear coat/paint, sealed the paint with a paint sealant wax, and then use a high quality wax to finish it off. Oh and this would of taken me longer if I didn't use a buffer. Plus I take pride in my work, its not like I do this for a living. This type of job would of cost me at least $100 if it was done professionaly, and thats on the cheap side. | |

| The only time I used the buffer tho is when I applied the wax or polishing liquid and when I would polish up the body with the lambswoold pad. But when I would remove the wax or polsih I would remove it by hand; I would use a microfiber towel, it seems like I see better results by doing it this method. | |

| id rather do it by hand if u know wat i mean...
but yea spend more time on the underbody (undercoating) and engine bay (just plain cleaning) rather than the exterior because it will just get dirty, think of stuff that will help in the long run, unless u got some uber paint on and aero =)
btw nice job! ^_^ | |

it's a 6" though but does the job just fine. Menard's 10" buffer for $20 and good choice with removing the polish witht he microfiber towel... it feels so good after u do that. now just take the towel from the front of your hood and slide it across to the end of the rear of the hatch... i loved doing that on my car when it used to be cleaned up. not it sits and collects sap.

| Pull the motor/trans, pressure wash the shit out of the engine bay, lift car, pressure wash the shit out of that, weld in new floor pans after blowing out the rust with the pressure washer, then prep and undercoat underbody, prep and paint engine bay, install engine/trans... IMO.
Looks really nice. Wanna do mine for 50 bucks?

| Its an S13....if anything...a 15 year old car at best...Not really worth 4 hours of cleaning imo unless its a show car or you just got brand new paint on it... | |
