Fucking Noob

Been home on spring break, got some shit done. Extended LCAs, PBM inner tie rods, some new outers, removed rear collars, and got the RPF1s powder coated. Ran out of funds to get the wing/trunk done, taking care of that when I'm home for summer. Put stock wing back on to cover up the rust for now.

Here's the results. Ignore the bumper sag, addressing that soon.

Thanks man, this is exactly the reason why i didn't go with Kais. I've had this vision for a while, finally got around to making it happen. Once the wing is on, I'm leaving it alone for the season. Time to drive it and give it the use it deserves.

Car looks great. Kinda stoked on the pinstripe not gonna lie, glad you didn't remove it.

Do you bring the car with you to school? I'll be down there this spring/summer, were going to get a bunch of people together from Rockford and head down there for a day to check out all the cool cars in Bloomington. Theres some rad stuff down there but its all older guys who don't get out much.

Hell yeah man, thank you. I love the pinstripe too haha. But yeah I have the car down with me most of the time. I actually just brought it back last week. Which local dudes you talkin bout?

the more I look at the tails, the more they seem to blend in too much with the color of the car. I think it needs some contrast.

Thanks again man. And yeah, there's times where I want kouki tails because they look good on almost everything. But then again I've been trying to execute a dark-themed car so I still love these smoked altezza style tails.

I'm really happy to see the forums coming to life again, especially before everyone begins the cold, harsh off-season.  

Haven't updated in a while, so here's some new reading material.

I only got one new, really cool part for the car over the summer. I finally put the D-Max wing from Dave's M-Sports 180 on my car. It did a ton for the overall appearance.


I drove DD52, which was a blast. I did my first "tandem" runs you could say. The car drove perfectly for how beat and basic it is. I get really good vibes from this picture of the pits.




So a week after the event, I was driving down the highway and bottomed out... oil light came on, snapped the timing guide later, and Buado towed it home. Can't thank that dude enough.


Ended up starving the motor of oil, locked up the exhaust cam, and bent a couple valves. Five weeks later it was finally back on the road after throwing a new head gasket, timing kit, and a used s14 KA head on it. Burns a little oil, oh well.

Lastly, we finally revealed our team to the public and we around extremely proud of what we have formed. Vanish, est. 2015.  Here is a cool pic of 2/5 of us.


I didn't think I would be driving another event this year, but luckily I was able to financially swing DD56. Hope to see some of you dudes out there!
