I need about tree fiddy.

So figured it was about time I make one of these.

Picked up a '07 Z a couple years ago after doing a ton of research. Was going to get an older cheaper one but all the problems with previous years scared me away so I ended up spending way more than I should have getting this thing shipped here.

No stock pics, everybody knows what that shit looks like.

A couple months after buying it I was researching wheel fitment and all that shit. Came up on a good deal on some RPF1's with tires already. Picked em up like 30 mins after dude posted the ad. Monster trucked it around for a while, while I saved up for Coilovers.



Picked up a used pair of AL+'s from Dabs, Sold the XD9s off the 240 I was building and went straight to TF to get GR+'s for the rear.



Shit was sunk and you cant adjust anything for shit on Z's with OEM arms so I just picked up some 15mm spacers all around.



Got bored of the black, painted the RPF1's white



Started "feeling out" the car a little.



The white got fucked up because I picked up some chemicals off the road and was too lazy to clean it off. So I got all faggoty like a 16 year old and painted them teal.



Sold em shortly after that and picked up Equips but wasnt feelin em.



Somewhere around here I scooped up this S14 for stupid cheap. Had bad rings so I got the motor rebuilt.



Finally picked up a seat so I could fit in the car with a helmet on.



Went to get my exhaust done and blasted some road kill on the way there.



Road tripped all the way to MD in this thing. Got nabbed in Indy doing like 115, dude fucking let me go with a ticket.



Hit up DDay 42. Thankfully it was raining. Prob wouldnt have been able to drive for shit with 265 tires in the back.




Cars in storage for the winter now. Trying to go lower next year and have a couple other things coming soon hopefully.

Good stuff, but man, that shit was the GAYEST with teal wheels and that matching teal window vinyl. What in the amerifuck were you on?!

I know haha. That's why I ditched em right after to pick up the SBCs. That's what I wanted from the start but the deal on the black ones was too good to pass up.

IIRC this thing sounded super cool at DD42.

In other news, maybe less planned for next year than I thought.

I had a APR GTC-300 lined up for stupiddddd cheap in Cali, one of my buddies was supposed to pick it up and ship it to me, he just texted me telling me all the sudden the guy wants double what he had it listed for. I told him to get fucked and now he magically has another one that has clear coat thats yellowing. Super bummed but dont even feel like dicking around with this Zilvia faggot.

The tire is literally touching the fender in that pic so somethings going to have to be done if I want to turn. I need to finish the back and take it for a drive to see whatsup.

Couple more random pics and one of my better runs from DDay. Found out afterwards that my front coilovers were definitely blown. Fucking things were giving me hell all day. Car was understeering like crazy. And that blind hill on Advanced kept intimidating me.

Finally got this thing back on the ground. Fresh Whiteline bushings in the back.



Still havent had a chance to drive it though.

Next up is installing the Stance camber and toe arms for the rear. And I need to buy some upper control arms for the front so I can run more camber.

Also picked up an NRG short hub because it was stupid cheap, so ill be piecing together a steering wheel setup eventually.

Please put aero on that. Would be SO rad.

Thats the plan eventually, but pretty much impossible on a Z with 18's at my height.

Fuck 19s. Even on Z33. 18s, aero and low. If you cant fit aero than just raise the front a tad for it, its lower than the back anyway.

So since it seems like its never gonna snow I said fuck it and went and picked this thing up from storage on Friday.

Car got stuck coming out of the garage and I couldnt turn the tires at all, so I jacked up the front and took the spacers off. Still rubbing really bad but at least it could turn.

Exactly. Being low is cool and all but if it makes it a fucking headache to drive then its not worth it.

I have realized this recently. Raised my front 0.5" for the winter tires and now I can drive without worrying about bumps in the road. The car doesn't look any higher either.

Looks awesome low like that, but if it's a bitch to drive... it's just not worth it.

Exactly. It's as low as it can be without rubbing. I like not having to worry about every little dip in the road and shit too.

I want to lower it more but I need to run a smaller tire. The fronts look like they have a little less than a season left anyways.

Drove a little at US41. Thrashed everything.




G35 I was dailying started burning oil and coolant so I dumped it at carmax and got stuck driving this thing all winter.



Picked up Model 5's all around.



Installed JWT Lightweight Clutch and Flywheel.



Car is in storage this winter and is finally paid off so hopefully updates from here are a little better.

Working on repairing all the aero and interior is out getting re-upholstered. Ive got a ton of other shit to do but my space isnt heated so im just doing what I can here and there until it gets warmer.




Also picked up ganadors somewhere in there.



This year im just trying to finish building it (or at least make some fucking progress) and drive USAIR at least once regardless of the cars state.
