S13 SR.
Starts up fine.
Then idles like sort of okay for like maybe, I dont know, like 1 minute maybe. Not even. (Note the 3 "likes")
Then idles gets funky. Brass monkey. surging. Until it eventually kills itself. I can keep it running by holding the gas.then once motor gets to operating temp , I let off the gas it just dies. Doesnt try to idle or anything. Just ka-poot.
Breaks up bAaAd around 4.5k under no load. Like Im hitting limiter or something. POP POP POP.

You bros ask, I answer.
Ciao!
Smile

Are you running any tuning at all? do you have a wideband? It could be a ignition problem.

Advice needed, not teenager carboy misdirected speculation.

We tried my maf, my coilpacks, ignitor, checked for any vacuum leaks, Ecu etc. Nothing changed. Tried my plugs and bam! Car runs. But it fouled them and wouldn't idle. No breaking up, just super rich. I'm using Ngk bkr7e, his car was originally using bk6r's... It ran and pulled hard with no problems except idle with my plugs, but anyone know why it could still be running so rich? Sorry for long rant of a post, but were out of ideas..

unbolt the fuel rail, but keep the injectors in it though. prime the car and see if the fuel is leaking out.

Stock ones... I'll try messing with the tps and see. That's the only thing we haven't tried.. And o2 sensors. But those don't do shit.

Im always down for helping out if I can. But it's still not working. Messed with it a little today but didn't have much time, still need to try the tps. Anyone know if coolant temp sensor or iacv could cause such a richness??

Went out and just messed with stuff. Tested my O2 connector with a test light in all three slots and none of them lit up. So my O2 sensor is getting no power? or is this normal? Id guess not...
