Finally got around to installing new pon cams and just got a PBM hydro e-brake.
I still need injectors and I'm thinking of doing a mid mount intercooler and elimination my BOV.

Mid mount+No bov+T517/8z would be unreal response, like, mini non-gay V8.

The handles on those are pretty cool.
I'm mounting mine up this weekend. Hope fully finish up the engine and get it installed. Gonna paint my engine bay and my interior since I'm getting a bolt in cage too.

What's wrong with your stock handbrake? Why hydro?
(Anti-hydro ebrake person here)

can someone explain the anti-hydro thing to me?
its not like it changes driving characteristics or anything.
They do the same thing as the stock ebrake (when the stock one works correctly)
but that's the problem. stock ebrakes are more complicated, require more maintenance, and are still less reliable.
I'm always a "if it isnt broken, dont fix it" advocate, but last time I drove trucky's car, his ebrake didnt work for shit.
Instead of spending a grip of money on cables and shit, and fucking around with adjustments to get it to work, and having to repeat this every time you stretch/snap cables, you can just get a hydro for the same price and never worry about it again.

I'm all about that "don't fix it, if it ain't broken" I just like the force out put by a hydro e-brake, compared to the force from the stock e-brake. I found myself shifting my body to get it to lock sometimes and didn't want to look weak on da block!!

I dig the shit out of how hydro ebrakes look in cockpits. I love all race car shit. Also, hydro ebrakes feel rad as fuck when you drop the hammer like youre stopping a fucking freight train. I wanna set mine as a push style one. That would be the fucking coolest.

I've thought about getting a hydro a few times... but I feel like the handle would just be inconveniently placed no matter where I put it.

Time for an update.
Finished up the engine bay and all the wiring.
Also got my transmission mount.
Tomorrow I'm going to install my stance toe arms, and RUCA. Also wrapped my heat shield and the turbo elbow area around the engine bay with cool reflective heat tape.
Hopefully I get the engine installed this week, and running by the weekend.
