Got a little bored today....

Well seeing as I've been laid off all winter and havent had much to do, I took advantage of this beautiful weather.


Took all the ugly as fukkk blue interior and painted it flat black... then i decided that the ugly ass carpet/tweed shit on the door had to go.

i'll have more pics tomorrow in the daytime, and of the rest of the interior pieces

o yea.... and that black interior is gonna be about 20 degrees hotter than usual come summer.... i know this by expirience......

i used Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric Coating in flat black! I just got sick of the nasty factory blue interior... looked dirty and dingy so i took care of it lol. only thing left is the dash

yeah i'll post more... been super busy lately and then it was rainin here and other BS... i should have some in the next day or so...

tried to do the same thing to my buddy's headliner, but with plain material. he didnt use enough adhesive. yours definaetly turned out good though. cant wait to see the pics when its all done.

what did you use anyway hot glue and a staple gun?

3m spray adhesive...... i think. thats normally what everyone recommends.

yeah i used the 3M stuff at first and trimmed and tucked with an exacto knife... then it wasn't holding as well as i liked, so i called my mom (she's into craft's and shit) and she gave me some of her Elmers craft glue permanent spray adhesive. worked great!

im gonna do one more coat on the dash and then put it all back in tomorrow hopefully. and hopefully i'll get my seats as soon as taxes come back! cuz right now my drivers seat is in full lay back position because my GF's brother broke it somehow when he owned the car...

duplicolor and vht vinyl dye are good stuff. just be careful with sharp objects. buddy scratched the hell out of his interior.... time for a touch up. i'm going to have to touch up my interior also.
