change your oil, maybe change your gear oil too if you are feeling ambitious

I change my engine oil for every event, and gear oil every other event.

make sure your battery is held down, and positive terminal is covered, intake is secure, seat is secure, WHEELS ARE TORQUED DOWN

umm alignments are good if you havent had one in a while.

just make sure your shit is in tip top shape, bring any extra parts you may own, tie rods, other links, oil filters, fluids etc etc etc

and make sure your power steering resevior has a wrist band or rag or something on it.
