07's First meet. Buffalo Wild Wings in Skokie. April 21st.

Man, how you going to blame me for you guys getting lost. I had directions, I made out sets of directions, other people "knew" where they were going, and people didn't follow the rules. Edgar, roski, white asian, and me all made it there and was ready to roll. Hell, we even sat around for a while, made a trip through wacker, turned around in some shitty ass underground area, then made another pass, parked and waited some more before the first group of people showed up. Everyone else = FAIL!

Anyway, I had fun. G/f and I were tired and not feelin so great, but it was still a good time. Nice to see some old buddies and the new faces alike, and its always a plus if there are no major complication or retardation. Though thoes guys in the "Bitchin' Camaro" were getting pretty annoying. BTW, loved the "burnout", fag.

Maybe next time we say fuck eating and just meet up real late and drive all night. That would be fun imo. Get some cruising video, stop and take pics in diffrent places.



But were gonna have to add a couple rules for future meets:

1. Fill up your tank
I don't care if your broke or whatever, make sure your tank is full before you show up.

2. Show up on time
D*squad, your not exempt from this one . If your late and were already eating, tough. I don't like waiting for people who are late regardless of the reason/excuse. Goto McDonalds and get a cheeseburger.

3. Give good estimate on guests
Make sure to let us know how many people are comming with you. And if someone is following in a diffrent car, let us know if they have people with them as well. Also, if you can't make it, try and let one of the moderators know before hand. If something unexpected comes up, try to get ahold of a friend so they can let us know.

4. Try to bring your own directions
If we have a meet set, usually we will let you know exactly what we are doing and in what order we are doing it. We will try to give exact adresses for ease, but some places don't have an adress.

5. Buddy up
Make sure you can get in contact with someone. If you stray from the pack, or get stopped at a light or whatever, you can let them know so they can pass it on, or they can tell you where the pack is at.


If anyone has any other rules/guidlines they would like to suggest, please feel free.

thats a good idea... oh and its whiteazn... lol.... i had to run through red light to keep up with u guys coz i didnt want to be the one leading the other group... anyway next time we should just meet up and just drive around, take video/picture... and if we get hungry we can always stop at like mcd or some...

bah fine. im still going to sell some parts. ill keep the coilovers and maybe the headlights. but those are easy enough to come by.

Yea, in order to keep them fresh, we don't have meets every month or whatever. If we did, they would be like old school 240 meets where only 12 people would show up.

Maybe like mid-late July or early August.

i was somewhat disappointed with turn out. i woulda thought there would have been more cars show up. I hear people came early but left earlier.

yea... came and left cuz there was no1 there at 7. and didn't feel like waiting. also didn't have my car so that made it worst.

i got there around 7:10 and i was told we were eating in like 10 minutes

not many cars at all. turnout while i was there was weak sauce compared to last years.

Well the turnout was good when we got there and while we cruised and shit so yeah, almost EVERYONE showed up late, but there were still alot of cars later on... next time, if your gonna come with no car just to badmouth then dont show up at all. Also, the next meet is gonna be awhile from now, and its gonna be in a whole different location that you guys can all decide on. Adikt, this whole forum is about meets, so all that meat>meet noise is kind of...........well...........thats what were here for is the MEETS. But the MEAT at BWW wings was good too.

^i was going to say..... i showed up late as well. good amount of cars there. everyone showed up late. wish i could have stayed for the cruise. next time.
