| as far as an actual answer goes. S&W cages are meant for customization. they give you a main hoop, some down bars, some cross bars, and a bunch of other random shit so you make the door bars and stuff how YOU want them for whatever racing you're doing.
so as long as the piping is the correct diameter and wall thickness, and whoever welds it for you follows pro-am rules, then you will be good to go.
ClubFR has its own rules, but its not like it will take any extra effort or money to meet pro-am rules, and you'll be better off in the long run that way.
and +1 on planning to keep this car forever. I wanted to get JLM's caged coupe, but just made the decision that if I'm going somewhere, its in this car. I'll never get rid of it, no matter how fucked it is right now.
I bet that tony faggot has never even been to an event | |

| RAD. That's more like what I was looking for. I wish those Godspeed cages were still legal. As far as the keeping it forever thing, this shell is so stupid clean and minty and awesome, Its pretty much what ive wanted since I first fucked up the og shark (a 180 clean enough to keep forever without worry), and its the main reason I got rid of the S14. I figure if I got out of this one, id probably never come back. And we cant be havin THAT shit. Either way. Im super glad to be back home in a 180 again. 14's are for the birds and the oem metal faggots. | |
