| I'm running some Konis that pretty much kick ass, but the fronts won't go super low, there's a decent wait time for the housings, and they're pricey. I don't even know how much you would care about having something like that since it seems you guys are more into being slammed/drifting/car style. The ride with approx. 9/7 springs is a lot better than my stance gr+ with 8/6 were, despite currently riding bumpstops in front on big potholes and shit. Do any drift guys run koni yellows with sleeve coilovers? They can handle pretty serious springs OTS...eh, front travel isn't good so you can't go low. That's where the JDM type coilovers undeniably win as of now- front travel.
For motor...VH45? You probably get one at pick n pull for like $75. The mazworx kit, headers, and Z32 trans would be a few grand though. And it'll make 280-300whp easily, and not make much more than that without spending big money. 5.3L aluminum Chevy is also a cheaper V8 option, with more mount kits, etc. out there. | |
